Well, I decided upon another change here since the last post was essentially to move the blog before it from my front page (and that depressed post was on my Twenty-Second birthday...wow that was a while ago).
After giving it literally NO thought, I decided to summarise the goings on since i last wrote here:
1) MsTea did indeed move back to Oz - setting up shop in Canberra, a move that I'm not all too sure at times whether or not she regrets to be honest. I mean I think she is glad to be with her Mother again (to whom she is far closer to than her father), but I think for the longest time living a city that closes shop at 6 every night bothered her. But I'd like to think she's found a nice group of people down there who appreciate someone of her genuine wit and sense of humour. I say that because despite being in the same hemisphere and even same timezone, we talk sparingly of late. I fully admit that's as much my fault (if not moreso) than hers, and i relish our chances to catch up, i just really wish they were more often is all.
2) Georgie has STILL not given me my birthday gift for my 21st OR 22nd birthdays, but one day i shall not only get it, but i hope to make sure that it fits! Speaking of Georgie, she has found herself a kindly viking (yes, they do exist) and has gone and got herself engaged to be hitched! I wish nothing but eternal happiness for the happy couple, and just insist that the bride-to-be still finds time so that we can hang out every once in a while.
3) Clayton Northcutt (Note: not his real name) is still the man, and we hang out whenever possible (though with his teaching full time and my being worked like the only donkey in town...that sounded less filthy in my head i assure you). Everyone should check out his deviantart gallery, as he's updated FAR more than i have in the past year or two.
4) I'm doing my best to never again be depressing, whiny blog #126, 429, 542 on dA, i really am. Lately I've been doing my damnedest to focus on the positives more than the negatives, and it has about a 57% success rate, and given that that's more than half (yeah, i know my maths...) i take it as a success.
Also, additionally, I've been looking through my gallery and thinking to myself that i really used to do more. Whether editing other peoples photos into digital art, or taking my own, i really used to try to upload something every month. I miss that about myself and that's why i'm going to endeavour to get back into the saddle, so to speak. My Twenty-Fifth birthday is coming up in a few months and I hope to have many more thing cluttering up peoples deviant lists by then. Who knows, maybe I might actually make something that will get me my first Daily Deviation...yeah, I doubt it too, but you never know....
